Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-17

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Service operated by Rebellion LLC at rebel-cards.com and related mobile apps, you agree to follow this AUP. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account without notice.

This list is not exhaustive. Use common sense.

You may not

1. Sell or list counterfeit, altered, or stolen goods

  • Don't upload, list, or sell cards you know or suspect to be counterfeit.
  • Don't upload, list, or sell cards that have been trimmed, recolored, or otherwise physically altered without disclosing that fact prominently in the listing.
  • Don't list cards you do not lawfully own. If you came into possession of cards through theft, fraud, or a chain of custody you cannot vouch for — don't list them on this Service.
  • Don't list cards that are subject to a known recall, bankruptcy claim, or active legal dispute.

2. Misrepresent grades or authentication

  • Don't represent our AI grade as a third-party-authenticated grade. Our grades are opinions; they are not PSA, BGS, SGC, CSG, or any other authentication service.
  • Don't combine our AI grade output with a real grader's branding, slab images, or cert numbers in a misleading way.
  • Don't sell, resell, sublicense, or repackage our grading "opinions" as professional appraisals or as inputs to your own paid grading service.
  • Don't claim a card is "guaranteed to grade" a specific number unless you have explicitly purchased our optional grade-match guarantee for that specific card under our then-current terms.

3. Harass, threaten, or impersonate

  • Don't use the Service to harass, threaten, defame, or stalk any user, our staff, or third parties.
  • Don't impersonate another person, business, or organization.
  • Don't use the Service to coordinate harassment campaigns or to dox anyone.

4. Engage in fraud or financial crime

  • Don't use the Service to launder money, evade taxes, evade sanctions, or finance illegal activity.
  • Don't submit fraudulent payment information.
  • Don't engage in chargeback fraud.
  • Don't use the Service to sell or trade items prohibited by U.S. law (firearms, controlled substances, etc.) — this Service is for sports cards.

5. Scrape, abuse, or reverse-engineer the platform

  • Don't run automated scrapers against our website, app, or API except via our published public API under its published rate limits and terms.
  • Don't attempt to extract, copy, or recreate our AI models, training data, pricing data, or proprietary algorithms.
  • Don't use headless browsers, proxy rotation, or other techniques to bypass our rate limits or anti-abuse controls.
  • Don't conduct security testing against our infrastructure without prior written permission. If you find a vulnerability, please report it responsibly to legal@rebel-cards.com.

6. Violate third-party marketplace terms

  • When you use the Service to list on eBay or other marketplaces, you remain responsible for following those marketplaces' policies. We follow each marketplace's official API and rate limits; you must not configure your account in a way that pushes us to violate them on your behalf.
  • Do not use the Service to attempt to circumvent any marketplace's anti-fraud, listing-limit, or feedback systems.

7. Abuse the custody / PSA submission service

  • If you ship cards to us for grading, ship the cards described in the submission. Do not pad submissions with cards you don't intend to grade in order to claim insurance against missing items.
  • Do not ship items other than sports cards (no cash, no other collectibles, no contraband) — we will refuse and return them at your expense.
  • Don't request grading on cards you don't own. Each submitted card must be in your lawful possession.

8. Misuse account access

  • Don't share your account with others. Each individual or business needs its own account.
  • Don't create multiple accounts to evade suspensions, abuse promotional pricing, or inflate volume metrics.
  • Don't access another user's account without their permission.

What happens if you violate this AUP

Depending on severity:

  • Warning: We may notify you and ask you to correct the behavior.
  • Feature restriction: We may disable specific features (e.g., custody submission, eBay posting, AI chat) while we review.
  • Suspension: We may suspend access for hours, days, or indefinitely.
  • Termination: We may permanently terminate your account.
  • Forfeiture: Pre-paid credits are non-refundable if account is terminated for AUP violation.
  • Referral to authorities: For activity we believe is illegal, we may refer to law enforcement and share relevant data under lawful process.

We may take any of these steps without prior notice if we believe immediate action is necessary to protect users, the Service, or third parties.

Reporting violations

If you see a listing or user behavior that violates this AUP, please report it to legal@rebel-cards.com. We review reports promptly and respond to the reporter where feasible.
